Four Reasons Why Recruiters Don’t Call You

I'm thinking this is a pretty good short read offered by Annette. The part of the post that caught my attention relates to comments around social media profiles. There are going to be as many opinions as there are profiles. However, when I coach professionals I suggest their Linkedin profile reflect either, "who they have been" or "who they want to be". I'll go into more details around this later on my own blog. But, the latter may not necessarily reflect a standing resume. Further, Facebook and Twitter are going to be a slippery slope for professionals. Those are genuinely "social" platforms that may reflect opinions and views that create more problems than solutions for job seekers.
